In all fairness, I've been known to make poor judgments when it comes to friendship before so I can't be too critical of him.
Is it really? I hadn't known there was a scenario in which ignorance could be considered a net positive. Or rather, I suppose it is not ignorance over feelings but rather an inability to reconcile all of them.
