That is true. Improvisation is one of my better talents. I had to do a fair bit of it yesterday to get that awful pod goo out of my hair. Did you know that - it sounds strange, but it's true - putting olive oil in your hair for about half an hour before washing it works wonders for that type of goo. I can only hope it works so well for this.

And ugh, I've had cherries ruined for me; that's the bigger shame. I love the blossoms in the spring.
