It's my understanding that the human equivalent of 12th Perigees Eve also involves the reception and distribution of items as a display of affection or acknowledgment of an existent relationship, yes?
Are there any particular gifts that appropriately mark the season in a traditional fashion or can they be anything at all? And how intently must one keep the identity of their present a secret prior to its reveal?

*You may hear the quiet click-click-click of knitting needles from inside Kanaya's room, interspersed with occasional sounds of frustration. You may also see that the hallway has a pile of colorful balls of yarn which shrinks steadily day after day. What could she be up to?*

*There is a young troll girl walking around town with a very large bag in her arms. She seems to be discreetly trying to avoid attention, particularly from those she knows, but in doing so she is only making herself more suspicious. If you are an Alternian troll that she recognizes, she will likely try to speed by if possible.*
[Action, later]
*The contents of that bag may be revealed later, as Kanaya heads to each of her friends' homes in turn to drop off an individually wrapped hand-knitted scarf. The construction is a bit amateurish, and any special patterns or pictures are probably more abstract representations than accurate portrayals, as she's only just learned, but they should be fluffy and warm regardless.
The scarf patterns are as follows:
Karkat - A black-and-white striped pattern with little curving half-circles on either end that may or may not have been Kanaya's attempt at crab claws.
Aradia - It's maroon all the way through with some yellow frogs on it.
Tavros - His brown/orange color with some white fairy/butterfly wings near the middle.
Sollux - Mainly yellow, with blue stripes at one end and red stripes on the other.
Nepeta - She drops off the olive scarf with white kitty-faces at her house, but doesn't expect anybody to pick it up :(
Herself - She didn't make herself a scarf, silly. That would be pointless as a present.
Terezi - A teal scarf with reddish diamonds meant to evoke her sunglasses.
Vriska - Her cerulean blue color, with white figure-8s all along the length.
Equius - Likewise, Kanaya drops off the dark blue horseshoe-pattern scarf at Equius' place, but doesn't expect anyone to receive it.
Gamzee - It's his deep royal purple with red and white :o) :o( faces alternating the entire way.
Eridan - He doesn't get a special scarf. Instead, he gets a shoddy-looking rough one cobbled together from some leftover yarn without any sense of cohesion. This was the scarf she first practiced on, Eridan.
Feferi - Bright tyrian purple with a long yellow trident near the middle, and darker purple stripes meant to evoke her cuttlefish near either end.
Davesprite - It's tiny and striped both orange and Dave-red.
Jade - Dark forest green alternating with a brighter jade-green that happens to be Kanaya's own blood color. She thought the name was funny.
Rose - Pink and purple alternating the entire way, as in the icon shown. Rose is droned, but Kanaya brings it to her house anyway, checking up on her drone as she has every day since the end of the apocalypse. Maybe this day will be the day she finally comes back?

Terezi and I have had a plan for a while to find out what he has to do with our session. Well, we found out he was definitely involved, and he wasn't happy with us for that.
I don't know if he'll do anything to you, but he's dangerous and he's been a part of more than we realized.
